Operations 2nd Shift Supervisor

We have an immediate opening for a 2nd shift supervisor. This full-time, salaried position will report to the Operations Manager.



This position is responsible for supervision of staff and operation of departments. The supervisor will plan and assign work, train employees, maintain product quality standards, and assist with maintaining production schedules.


Essential skills include:

  • Ability to supervise in a professional manner

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Professional interaction with upper management, employees, and other branches

  • Understanding of company products, their capabilities, and uses

    • Knowledge of L&P systems, policies, and procedures

    • Must be able to handle confidential information

  • Basic computer knowledge

  • Basic math skills

  • Professional written and oral communications

  • Problem solving skills

  • Knowledge and application of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods

  • Knowledge of IATF-16949 procedures


  • Support entire floor and all departments in multiple functions as needed

  • Manage, organize and maintain equipment while ensuring the highest level of standards on the floor always.

  • When needed, must be able to maintain department information files. i.e. Project log, EWO log, Machine Inventory, Machine Capacity, etc.



  • High School diploma or equivalent plus 6 months of experience in current position.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to understand detailed processes and procedures

  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities

  • Ability to work independently and as a team leader

  • Customer service skills, verbal and written

  • Manage multiple projects, work schedules, and accounting budgets

  • Understand business quality systems and procedures

  • Working knowledge of machine shop practices

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
