Grounds Person

has an immediate opening for an hourly, full time Grounds Person. Candidates should have knowledge of general lawn care and landscaping and enjoy the outdoors, both in heat and cold.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the daily grounds work schedule of maintaining the lawns, flower beds and landscaping duties
  • Conduct daily inspections of grounds and assigned areas
  • Winter time snow removal
  • Perform corrective and preventative care for grounds equipment, irrigation system and other assigned tasks

    Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High School/GED or equivalent vocational training
  • Valid driver s license and dependable transportation
  • Previous hands-on grounds experience in operating various mowers, tractors, and equipment
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Primary working hours 7 am to 4 pm M-F, but must be able to work overtime or on-call as needed
  • Be able to lift 50 lbs. or more and be on your feet standing, carrying, lifting and or walking several hours outdoors each work day

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
