Domestic Tax Manager

, an S&P; 500 company, is seeking candidates for a Domestic Tax Manager at our corporate location in Carthage, Missouri.

Domestic Tax Managers oversee federal and state income and property taxes in multiple states. A successful candidate will have direct responsibility for all aspects of tax compliance, research and analysis of tax laws, planning, acquisitions, tax audits, and assistance with accounting for income taxes and SEC reporting. This position will report to a Tax Director, and will include the management of several direct reports.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communications skills, proven ability to lead, the capability to make solid business decisions, and a track record of successfully managing people and projects.

Requirements/Desired Skills

  • Bachelor or Master s degree in Accounting or Tax from an accredited college or university
  • CPA certification is preferred
  • Minimum six years of relevant post-graduate tax experience is required
  • Two years or more of management experience required
  • Proven track record of high performance work

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
