Maintenace Mechanic

SUMMARY:


Maintains operating condition of equipment and completes repairs. Utilizes knowledge of fundamental mechanical and electrical skills in performing assignments. Operates common hand or power tools.


RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Maintains operating condition of equipment

  • Repairs machinery

  • Installs new parts

  • Sets up and performs changeover of machinery


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High school degree or equivalent and minimum of two years of CNC programming experience

  • Must have basic math skills.

  • Must be able to use measuring tools.

  • Must be able to understand and follow blueprints.

  • Must have mechanical skills and ability.

  • Must know or be willing to learn basic electricity/electronics/PLC's.

  • Must know or be willing to learn hydraulics.

  • Must know or be willing to learn pneumatics.

  • Must be committed to 100% quality and continuous quality improvement.

  • Must be committed to safety and good housekeeping.

  • Might be required to lift 70 lb.

  • Might be required to move up to 1,000 lb. of equipment on wheels.

  • Might be required to stand 8 hours continuously.

  • Must work overtime when necessary.

  • Must be able to work in teams on continuous improvement projects.

  • Must maintain good attendance record.

  • Must be willing to learn.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
