Account Representative
Leggett & Platt is seeking an Account Representative to join our Creative Services team at our corporate campus in Carthage, MO. This role is charged with fostering a relationship with Leggett & Platt divisions and helping leverage the Creative Services team to support the division's marketing, sales support, advertising, and tradeshow initiatives. This position requires a detail-oriented, multi-tasking, self-motivated personality with the ability to use critical thinking skills to solve problems while exhibiting exceptional communication skills.
Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to assigned accounts
Helping account contacts through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share, and in-person meetings
Developing a trusted advisor relationship with account contacts and management
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of Creative Services' solutions according to a division's needs and objectives
Managing multiple projects from beginning to end, which includes organizing and completing missing information, developing and tracking timelines, and maintaining project budgets
Preparing regular reports that clearly communicate progress of account initiatives
Collaborating with creative team and assisting with challenging client situations as needed
Collaborate with Exhibit Solutions (tradeshow) staff to provide support for assigned accounts
Some travel may be required for onsite support and execution of tradeshows or sales meetings as needed
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or project management-related field
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail and meeting deadlines
Excellent listening, negotiation. and presentation abilities
Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products
Able to work independently and as a member of a team with limited supervision
Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity
Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
One or more years of sales experience preferred
2 years account management or customer service experience preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
