Emulsion Manager
Position
Summary:
The purpose of the Emulsion Supervisor is to perform the duties of a front line supervisor, be responsible for the safe manufacturing of Emulsion products and support the Carthage Missouri Plant according to DNA and plant policies and procedures.
Reports to: Emulsion Manager
Essential Functions:
Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety
Ensure compliance with applicable HSE performance standards, objectives and regulation.
Live and foster the IPL Corporate Values
Supports BEx initiatives and ensures participation from all areas of responsibility.
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; works well in group problem solving situations; uses reason when dealing with emotional topics.
Maintain good personnel relations by explaining company goals and policies.
Constructs work plans for the Emulsion workforce based on production plans and makes adjustments to plans as necessary.

Technical Competencies
Education:
Undergraduate Degree preferred.
Experience:
Prior supervisory experienced preferred.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Technical:
Ability to interact and discuss issues with regulatory compliance officials.
Ability to provide direction and coaching to others in an effective leadership manner
Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration among all shift employees
Ability to listen, understand and take technical data from others into consideration in making operational decisions
Ability to communicate with others effectively in both written and verbal manner
Acquire and maintain all appropriate licenses and certifications required by federal, state and county entities.
Must satisfy the requirements for a Responsible Person as defined by the Bureau of Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
