Summary:
Ensure the efficient and effective cleaning of production equipment and adjacent areas, in addition to other environments, following approved sanitary methods.
Position Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safe use of appropriate chemical solutions to ensure the cleanest and most highly sanitized equipmentEnsure that all necessary safety precautions are followed in performing your responsibilitiesResponsible for following through on projects assigned Cleans equipment by using hot water hoses and/or high pressure soap hoses with temperatures up to 160 degrees Lifts, carry, push or pull parts or equipment with weights up to 100# or more Climb ladders to clean spirals/equipmentPossible forklift/palletjack/manlift licensed for certain areas Tearing equipment down and assisting Production to put line back togetherWorks with soaps and other cleaning compounds, some toxic if not handled correctlyTemperatures throughout plant average 50 degreesRequired to wear hairnet, smock, boots or overshoes, ear plugs, gloves, plastic sleeves, and aprons provided by the CompanyOther duties as assigned Employee Safety
Responsibilities:
Report all injuries, unsafe conditions, unsafe acts & horseplay Use proper lifting techniques Use mechanical assistance (handjack, forklift, manlift)Use personal assistance (buddy)Use handrailsUse and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Position
Qualifications:
