2K a year Position Summary Tool and Die Manager is responsible for production readiness of all new tooling as well as sustaining existing tooling in the facility in order to keep up with the daily demands of production Position Responsibilities Quoting and leadership of new project tooling development Be the go-to individual for any troubleshooting needed in production, prototyping and die builds Provide hands-on support to lead assigned projects to improve safety, quality, and productivity Support production and maintenance teams with technical expertise Identify and correct technical problems to maintain and improve manufacturing efficiencies Develop, Implement and Maintain overall tooling management organization Coordinate jobs with design and engineering departments detailing responsibilities within department Position Requirements Associates degree or equivalent combination of experience Must be proficient in AutoCad, SolidWork, and CamWorks Capable of manual machine tool set ups Desirable Qualifications Able to program in G or M code Experience with various press equipment Previous supervisory experience in tool and die function This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only activities to be performed by the employee occupying this position.
