Job Description Assist the veterinarian with general patient care, including but not limited to examination, treatment and discharge of patients.
Perform routine laboratory work and perform minor surgery.
Perform patient pre-service behavioral health assessments.
Provide client education and post-exercise client care.
Conduct routine injections and medication administration.
Clean and groom clients.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must have a current valid driver's license and be able to drive a vehicle to the workplace on a daily basis.
Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work with our medical team in a collaborative manner.
Must have strong interpersonal skills, as you will be working closely with our medical team to ensure the best possible patient care experience for all of our clients.
Must have strong commitment to excellent customer service, as this is one of your primary duties as an employee of Central Pet Care.
We are looking for someone who is willing to go the extra mile to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.
This includes being able to maintain composure in the face of difficult situations, as well as maintaining professional standards of conduct in the clinic environment.
